Hi everybody!

 Eccoci anche quest'anno giunti alla festa più amata dai baresi: San Nicola!

Sarà per l'arrivo della bella stagione, per l'aria che si riscalda o per il profumo d'estate, non conosoco barese che non si rechi almeno ad una delle manifestazioni che si svolgono durante queste giornate! 

Nonstante l'anno scorso avessi detto che quest'anno avrei seguito nel dettaglio le manifestazioni, mi ritrovo come sempre piena di impegni, e seguirò soltanto gli avvenimenti principali! Seguite gli aggiornamenti sui SOCIAL! :)

Fly Me to the Moon!

Hi everybody!

Come vi scrivevo ieri qui, ecco il post dedicato alla luna! Già un'altra volta mi ero dilettata nel fotografarla, precisamente quest'estate, quando vi ho parlato del fenomeno della luna blu, ricordate? Questa volta invece, diamo più spazio alle foto....Fly me to the moooon! :D

As I wrote here yesterday, here's the post dedicated to the moon! Once before I had dabbled in the photograph, precisely this summer, when I talked about the phenomenon of the blue moon, do you remember? This time, we give more space to the photos .... Fly me to the moooon! :D

Lo spettacolo è stato davvero mozzafiato, non so perchè quella luna era così bella, così grande! Ovviamente il panorama urbano non è che sia dei migliori, immaginate la stessa scena su una spiaggia, sarebbe ancora più suggestiva! 

Per quanto riguarda lo scatto, ho utilizzato come spesso accade l'automatico, alternato la modalità aurora/crepuscolo e tramonto. Devo dire che la differenza tra lo scatto automatico (la seconda foto) e la modalità aurora/crepuscolo (sesta foto) è abissale! Considerate inoltre, che non trovavo il cavalletto e per fare in fretta ho scattato a mano libera, quindi non potevo usare il manuale! (bella scusa ahahah! :P ) Per la post produzione invece, mi sono limitata ad aumentare le ombre, per esaltare la luminosità della luna! Che ne dite? E voi avete mai fotografato la luna? Se avete dei consigli, lasciate un commento! 

The "show" was truly breathtaking, I do not know why the moon was so beautiful, so great! Of course, the urban landscape is not that the best, but you can use the imagination! The same scene on a beach, it would be even more impressive!

As for shooting, I used as often the automatic alternating mode dusk / dawn and sunset. I must say that the difference between the automatic (the second picture) mode and Dusk / Dawn (sixth photo) is abysmal! Consider also that I could not find the tripod and make haste I took freehand, so I could not use the manual! (great excuse ahahaha: P) For the post production instead, I simply increase the shadows, to enhance the brightness of the moon! What do you think? And you have never photographed the moon? If you have any suggestions, leave a comment!

Here we are a New Nature Jotter!

Hi everybody!
La primavera è novità, cambiamento, rinnovamento, ecco quindi che anche The Nature Jotter cambia look! :) 

Spring is novelty, change, renewal, so here we are with a new look for The Nature Jotter! :)

Una ventata di rinnovamento per introdurre delle novità che presto saranno sul blog! Purtroppo ultimamente non ho potuto dedicarmi al blog come avrete notato, ne ho sentito la mancanza lo ammetto! Sarà stato una specie di "blocco dello scrittore" a dimensione di click, ma per un motivo o per l'altro, non riuscivo a prendere la macchina fotografica! Ma poi, d'un tratto ieri, tra una formula chimica e un'altra, mi sono voltata verso la finestra e ho visto uno spettacolo mozzafiato, la luna sorgeva alle mie spalle. 

Il passaggio è stato quasi automatico, una corsa alla macchina fotografica, che per fortuna era carica! Guardare quello spettacolo della natura dall'obiettivo è stato emozionante, e ritrovare quella gioa e quel senso di libertà facendo quegli scatti, mi ha fatto sentire davvero felice. E' proprio vero, a volte basta poco! <3  Per non parlare poi, dell'autentica eccitazione mentre le foto caricavano sul pc, osservarle con calma, mentre la luna ormai bianca, era alta nel cielo. 

La modifica delle foto è quasi ultimata, domani ve le mostrerò tutte! Anche se sapete che non adoro modificare le foto, con soggetti così semplici e il cielo che cambia colore ogni attimo che passa, a volte modificando qualche piccolo dettaglio il risultato è stupefacente!

Quindi l'appuntamento è a domani con altre foto lunari, non mancate!

ps: o meglio l'appuntamento è a stasera, alzate il naso per aria e guardate la luna! 
pps: d'obbligo è un grazie a tutti voi miei cari lettori, che nonostante solo 2 post di febbraio, 3 di marzo e uno di aprile, continuate ogni giorno a visitare The Nature Jotter, abbiamo superato le 38,000 visualizzazioni! Grazie grazie grazie! :)


A breath of renewal to introduce all the innovations that you'll see soon on the blog! You know, unfortunately, lately I have not been able to devote so much time to the blog as you may have noticed, I've missed I admit it! It must have been a kind of "writer's block" but for the dimension of clicks and photos, but for one reason or another, I could not feel goot to take my camera a go around! But then, all of a sudden yesterday, when i was studing chemical, between numbers, I turned toward the window and saw a stunning show, the moon rose behind me!

The move was almost automatic, a ride to the camera, which was thankfully charge! Watching the spectacle of nature from the lens of my camera was exciting, and find that joy and that sense of freedom by making those shots, it made me feel really happy. It 's true, sometimes just a little! <3 Not to mention, authentic excitement as the photos loaded on the PC, observe calmly, now white as the moon was high in the sky.

The modification of the photos is almost finished, I'll show you all tomorrow! Even though you know that I love editing photos, with subjects so simple and the sky changes color every moment that passes, sometimes by changing some small detail, the result is amazing!

So the appointment is for tomorrow with more photos moon, do not miss it!

ps: or rather, the appointment is tonight, raise the nose in the air and look at the moon!
pps: Oh, and i have to say thank you my dears readers! In spite of the only 2 posts of Feb, the  3 of March, and the only one of April, we have overcome the 38,000 pageviews!

Beautiful Natural place near Bari: "Pulo di Altamura"

Hi everybody!

Finalmente le belle giornate sono tornate, splende il sole e qui a Bari inizia a fare davvero caldo!

Quindi anzichè stare in città cosa c'è di meglio che spostarci verso zone più silenziose dove stare in pace e rilassarsi un po'? :)

Eccoci quindi al Pulo di Altamura, un enorme "buco" presente nell'Alta Murgia. E' davvero un luogo dove rilassarsi godere del panorama e scattare qualche foto, ma soprattutto osservare la bellezza della natura incontaminata tipica della Puglia e dell'Alta Murgia! Sapete bene quanto adori il mare ma con le temperature che iniziano ad alzarsi adesso è il periodo perfetto per conoscere queste zone (d'estate è decisamente troppo caldo). 

Come spesso accade nei miei post, non ho la macchina fotografica professionale infatti qualche foto l'ho fatta dalla mia compatta e altre dal telefono! Ma vi assicuro che sentire il calore del sole che inizia ad esser caldo sulle guance e respirare l'aria primaverile è davvero rigenerante! 

Provare per credere! :P

So here we are at Pulo di Altamura, a very big huge "hole" in the Alta Murgia. It 's really a place where you can relax enjoy the view and take some pictures, but above all to observe the beauty of nature typical of Puglia and Alta Murgia! You know how i love the sea, but with temperatures starting to rise now is the perfect time to learn about these areas (in summer is really too hot).
As often happens in my posts, I have no professional camera in fact I made some pictures from my compact and more from your phone! But I assure you that you feel the warmth of the sun begins to be hot cheeks and breathe the spring air is really refreshing!
